Passenger killed in car accident caused by drowsy driver

A 37-year-old man died when the driver of the car in which he traveled fell asleep and the vehicle crashed into a tree, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Division, the accident happened on the Calarasi-Lozova-Hancesti road on April 12. The driver aged 50 living in Bucovat, Straseni was very tired. On the road, he fell asleep and lost control of the car. The car went off the road and ran into a tree. The driver was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition, while his passenger, who was a resident of Vorniceni, Straseni, died on the spot.
