The MPs of the Party of Action and Solidarity will manage eight of the 11 permanent commissions of Parliament, while the parliamentary group of the Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists will head three parliamentary commissions, IPN reports.
The Parliament’s commission on appointments and immunities with 11 members will be led by PAS MP Olesea Stamate.
The commission on economy, budget and finance will have ten members and will be chaired by Dumitru Budianschi of PAS.
The commission on national security, defense and public order will have nine members and will be led by PAS MP Lilian Carp.
The commission on foreign policy and European integration with nine members will be headed by PAS MP Doina Gherman.
The PAS MPs will also chair the commission on agriculture and food industry (9 members) – head Vladimir Bolea; the commission on public administration (9) – Larisa Voloh, the commission on culture, education, research, youth and sport (12) – Liliana Nicolăescu-Onofrei and the commission on social protection, health and family (9) – Dan Perciun.
The group of BECS will manage the public finance control commission (7 members) – head Tatiana Cunețchi, the commission on environment and regional development (8) – Elena Bodnarenco, and the commission on human rights and interethnic relations (7) – Grigore Novac.
The Parliament of the tenth legislature also had 11 permanent commissions.
The new Parliament consists of three political entities: PAS with 63 seats, BECS with 32 seats and the Shor Party with six seats.
