The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) proposes that the Moldovan graduates of foreign teacher training education institutions should also be offered employment allowances, as the graduates of national education establishments, if they take up the work assigned to them by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. A relevant bill to amend the Education Code was registered by MP Vladimir Bolea, IPN reports.

The MP told a news conference that this way the young specialists, no matter where they studied, will be supported on employment and a contribution will be thus made to filling the vacancies in national education institutions.

Besides the employment allowance, the graduates of foreign education institutions should also benefit from the other concessions offered to graduates of national education establishments, such as compensation for accommodation rental or payment for heat and electric power consumption.

“We consider all the graduates of foreign education institutions who return home should enjoy the right to take up the post of teacher in the Republic of Moldova and the same allowances as the young specialists who studied at national institutions,” stated Vladimir Bolea.

After graduation and assignment, the young teachers with higher education receive a lump sum of 120,000 lei, while those with technical post-secondary professional education of 96,000 lei. The young specialists are monthly covered the accommodation rental and heat and electricity consumption costs.
