MP of the Party of Action and Solidarity Dumitru Alaiba registered with Parliament a legislative proposal for the digitalization of a number of documents, such as extracts regarding the absence or presence of debts to the state budget, extract from the real estate register, the criminal record certificate, information about the insurance period, information from the state register and documents about the establishment of the legal entity, IPN reports.
“Any person who had to do with the administration of a business, who had to do with bureaucracy in our country knows very well this phenomenon called “extract”. This is frustrating, difficult in parts and very useless in the 21st century, when information is already possessed by the state. You go to a desk after information that belongs to it for taking it to another desk,” stated Dumitru Alaiba.
According to the PAS MP, the digitization of these extracts will minimize the risk of corruption in the issuing of these documents. The legislative proposal enables to obtain and download the enumerated documents in electronic form and to sign them through the personal cabinet of the entrepreneur or the citizen. This way, the service will become available to the citizens and entrepreneurs at the click of the mouse. “This electronic service should be free of charge,” said the bill author.
The proposal also contains amendments to the Execution Code. “These are aimed at creating legal conditions for the use of electronic instruments, in the interaction of the authorities and public institutions with bailiffs within the execution procedures,” stated Dumitru Alaiba.
