The Party of Action and Solidarity presented the team with which it will compete in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11. The list includes current MPs, municipal councilors, journalists, doctors and others. On May 14, the party submitted the documents to the CEC for being registered as an election runner, IPN reports.

The PAS list that consists of 102 candidates for MP was read by MP Sergiu Litvinenco in a news conference. The first ten candidates on the list are: acting president of the party Igor Grosu, ex-minister of finance Natalia Gavrilița, MP Mihai Popșoi, MP Sergiu Litvinenco, suspended secretary of the presidential administration Adrian Spânu, ex-minister of education Liliana Nicolăescu-Onofrei, MP Doina Gherman, journalist Nata Albot, MP Vladimir Bolea, journalist Natalia Davidovici as well as Olesea Stamate, Dan Perciun, Vasile Șoimaru, Dumitru Alaiba, Dumitru Budeanschi, Rosian Vasiloi, Vitalie Jacot, Ana Oglinda, and Adrian Belîi, who heads the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Dependent of the Emergency Medicine Institute.

PAS vice president Natalia Gavrilița said that at the presidential elections, the people showed it clearly that they want a state in which the people’s interests are above everything. The people want incomes, salaries and pensions and a state that would offer opportunities to the young generations. The people wanted snap parliamentary elections and the power is now in their hands.

Adrian Belîi noted that society is ready for a change and this was shown by the votes given to Maia Sandu at the presidential elections.

PAS MP Doina Gherman noted the people are tired of being lied to and made to leave the country. They want to live here, near their families. Moldova made history when it elected the first woman President and this team will continue work and will deliver reforms.

PAS MP Vladimir Bolea stated that at the July 11 elections, the people can get the country back. Poverty caused by corrupt politicians is the main enemy of the citizens. The people should not allow the thieves to come to power as these transform the state institutions into criminal organizations.

May 14 is the first day the candidates for MP can submit the documents to the CEC. A draw will be held later today to decide the preliminary order on the ballot for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11.
