The MPs of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) have announced public consultations on the amendments to the law on the oil products market and to the legislation concerning the functioning of the National Integrity Authority for July 28, IPN reports.
According to PAS, the relevant bills will be registered with the Parliament’s Secretariat immediately after the administration of Parliament and its executive bodies are elected.
The consultations will be held in “Europe Hall” in the Parliament Building, starting at 10 am on the amendments to the law on the oil products market and starting at 2pm on the amendments to the law on the functioning of the National Integrity Authority and the related.
The law on the oil products market was adopted by the previous Parliament in March. This stipulates that the oil prices will be capped in accordance with the methodology for calculating and applying fuel prices that was approved and is supervised by the National Agency for Energy Regulation, based in the Platt`s quotations. The bill was submitted as a legislative proposal by former independent MP Alexandru Oleinic.
The amendments to the legislation concerning the functioning of the National Integrity Authority were adopted by the MPs of the Party of Socialists and the Shor Party in December 2020. The Party of Action and Solidarity challenged them in the Constitutional Court and the latter suspended the effects of this law.
