“The Party of Regions of Moldova is the only authentic pro-Russian party that keeps Moldova’s statehood,” said the party’s leader Alexandr Kalinin. In a news conference at IPN, Alexandr Kalinin noted their party will settle the Transnistrian conflict by federalizing Moldova and will declare Russian the second official language.
“The Party of Regions is an appropriate alternative for the real patriots who were disappointed by Dodon and the Party of Socialists. We are a real pro-Russian force, a power that clearly pleads for the federalization of the Republic of Moldova as a solution to the Transnistrian conflict. And we will win these elections,” stated the leader of the Party of Regions that runs under No. 10 in the national constituency.
Alexandr Kalinin called on the voters not to believe those who say that the state will stagnate without Igor Dodon as this is not true. There are healthy political forces that are honest in relation to the voters and that have chances of winning.
The leader of the Party of Regions said they will not allow President Igor Dodon and the Party of Socialists to engage Russia in the promotion of personal interests. The citizens should not believe in tales that Russian tanks will come, that Moldova will be annexed as Crimea or that the “little green men” will come. These are inventions by Dodon’s people,” stated Alexandr Kalinin.
He noted that the citizens know that the Russian Federation is Moldova’s main economic partner and want a common future alongside Russia.
“The citizens of the Republic of Moldova, to change the future, on February 24, 2019 should vote the Party of Regions that includes decent people who will deliver their promises. They do not lie as the Socialists do. Immediately after entering Parliament, the Party of Regions will fulfil its promises,” stated Alexandr Kalinin.
He called on the citizens on February 24 to go and vote for peace, for the Party of Regions, not for the Party of Socialists, which is the party of war.
