The Party of Greens of Ukraine provided its office for the protesters from “Euromaidan” to warm themselves up and drink a tea or coffee. This way the party supports the Ukrainian protesters, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the party, from the first day of the protests the Greens made their head office in the Independence Square available to the protesters. Volunteers are there on duty round-the clock. They offer assistance to the protesters. Anyone can enter the Party of Greens’ office, while the products are provided personally by the party’s leader Denis Moscali.
“The Ukrainian people chose the European and democratic path, while the politicians must make their contribution to it,” said the Ukrainian politician.
The supporters of Ukraine’s European integration began to mount protests at the end of November, after the Ukrainian administration decided to suspend the procedures for the association with the EU, invoking economic problems. Thousands of Ukrainians took to the streets, seeking the dismissal of the President and the Prime Minister.
