The General Police Inspectorate calls on the persons who take part in protests to demonstrate peacefully and to avoid illegal activities or provocations. “Dialog Police” teams will be present in the Great National Assembly Square on July 1, starting at 2pm, to facilitate the communication between the police and protesters and to handle possible conflict situations. There will be pitched tents where the people could drink water and receive primary medical assistance, IPN reports.

The General Police Inspectorate calls upon the protesters not to wear firearms, explosive and other dangerous devices, be attentive to the information communicated by the police and present themselves if they are asked to by police officers. If they come with children to the protest, they should supervise these. If they see violent persons or persons who incite violence, they should distance themselves from these and inform the organizers of the protest, the team “Dialog Police” or any police officer. Two mobile information centers in the central square of Chisinau will broadcast videos about security at protests.

The persons who intend to come to the protest from districts can park their vehicles near the Circus, in front of the Academy of Sciences and on Columna St and M. Viteazul St. Stefan cel Mare Blvd will be partially closed to traffic, depending on the scale of the planned event.

The police said they identified a number of persons who disseminate messages that incite violence during demonstrations through their personal accounts and through false accounts created on social networking sites. The persons were summoned for questioning.

The National Resistance Committee that consists of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth”, the Party “Action and Solidarity”, other parties and members of civil society announced a large scale protests for July 1.
