Part of Chisinau kindergartens will be closed in summer

The kindergartens that are to undergo repairs will be closed for the summer period. The parents will be advised to take their children to the kindergartens located in the vicinity. The kindergartens with low attendances will also be closed. The information was made public by the head of the Education, Youth and Sport Division Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb in a meeting with managers of Chisinau preschool education institutions, Info-Prim Neo reports. The official instructed the managers to inform the parents about the exiting opportunities. “If the kindergarten is closed, the educator must discuss with the parents and suggest two-three kindergartens that the parents can choose from,” she stated. As to the summer program of the kindergartens, Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said there will be organized open-air activities, including trips, discussions and games. She urged the kindergarten heads to pay special attention to the food service in their institutions. In the municipality of Chisinau, there are 151 kindergartens that are attended by over 32,000 children.
