Parliament’s autumn session begins Sep.1

On September 1, the Moldovan Parliament will be back from its summer recess and begin its ordinary autumn session. An order to this effect was issued by Speaker Igor Grosu, IPN reports.

According to a Parliament press release, the MPs will come together for the first plenary session after recess on the formal proposal of the Permanent Bureau, after a draft agenda is prepared.

During the session, a number of new projects as well as remaining projects from previous legislatures will be examined.

Parliament meets in two ordinary sessions a year. The spring session begins in February and cannot exceed the end of July. The autumn session starts in September and cannot exceed the end of December.
