The administration of Parliament is projected to be elected in two-there days, Democratic MP Sergiu Sarbu said after the discussions held by representatives of the PLDM, PDM and PCRM on January 14, IPN reports.

Sarbu expressed his satisfaction with the result of the meeting, saying they almost reached an agreement with the PCRM concerning the election of the legislature’s administration. “We either ensure stability or will have early elections. That’s why it is very important to continue this dialogue with all the healthy political forces of Moldova’s Parliament. We expect to reach an agreement in two-three days,” he stated.

The representative of the PLDM Vadim Pistrinciuc also expressed his satisfaction with the discussions they had with the PCRM. “We discussed the parliamentary priorities and agreed that the creation of the executive bodies of Parliament is a priority so that we can ensure the functionality of the legislative body. The country needs a government. We need a budget and fiscal policy,” he said.

Both the representative of the PLDM and that of the PDM said they do not discuss the formation of an alliance with the PCRM, while the talks in the PLDM-PDM-PL format will continue.

Communist MP Artur Reshetnicov expressed his optimism about the results of the cooperation between the PCRM, PDM and PLDM. “It is important to unblock the Parliament’s work. If we manage to do this, the doors will open for other accomplishments, including for forming the Government,” he stated.
