The parliamentary hearing on the situation in the financial-banking sector was arranged for 4m. The decision was taken by the Parliament’s Standing Bureau and was made public by Speaker Andrian Candu, IPN reports.
Parliament will question the Prime Minister, National Bank governor, director of the National Anticorruption Center, prosecutor general, chairman of the Competition Council and director of the Security and Information Service.
It’s not yet known if the hearing will be public or will be held behind closed doors. The decision will be taken by the MPs.
Andrian Candu said the hearing will also center on the implementation of the Parliament decision taking in a closed-door siting on March 24.
The request to invite the aforementioned officials before the MPs was made by the Communist faction and was accepted unanimously.
