The Bloc of Communists and Socialists has a new MP. This is Adrian Lebedinschi, who sat in the previous Parliament on behalf of the Party of Socialists. The Constitutional Court on November 4 validated the seat, IPN reports.
Adrian Lebedinschi took the place of the president of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon, who left the legislative body, arguing he considers he will be more active in his role of opposition leader outside Parliament.
Adrian Lebedinschi is a jurist by profession. He started his career in the national internal affairs bodies in 1998. He worked as an investigator in the criminal investigation division and as deputy head of the Centru and Buiucani Police Commissariats of Chisinau. In 2010, he entered the bar. In October 2015, he became an MP. He entered again Parliament after the elections of February 2019, being elected MP in single-member constituency No. 29 of Chisinau.
