Parliament to improve legal framework on entrepreneurship

Parliament created a special committee for improving the legal framework governing the entrepreneur activity, in compliance with the law of July 2006.
The Committee is composed of 16 MPs, 11 of which are communists. It is chaired by Speaker Marian Lupu. Nicolae Bondarciuc and Vladimir Turacn were named deputy chairmen of the Committee.
The Special Committee will examine reports and proposals to amend the legislation; will draw up, in partnership with the State Committee for Regulation of Entrepreneur Activity, the list of the legislative acts which are to be annulled or amended etc. The Committee will also work out draft laws for amending the legislation concerning the entrepreneurship.
The Committee will be assisted by the World Bank “Competitiveness Enhancement” project, independent experts and the Business Consulting Council.
The Special Committee will conclude its activity once the improvement process is complete, in compliance with the provisions of the Law of July 20, 2006 on the basic principles of entrepreneurship regulation.
