Next week the MPs will have three sittings. On April 27, a solemn meeting will be held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the State Flag. On April 29 and April 30, the MPs will have ordinary sittings, IPN reports.

Head of Parliament Andrian Candu called a working meeting with the heads of the Parliament’s permanent commissions. The discussions centered on the efficient organization of the Parliament’s work and on the bills from the parliamentary agenda. The Speaker requested the commission heads to determine the topicality of the bills that remained from the previous legislatures so as to propose a list of draft legal acts that should be rejected.

Andrian Candu said the Parliament’s Regulations could be modified by the end of the current session so as to ensure efficient parliamentary activity.

The agendas of the parliamentary commissions include 173 bills that are to be examined and two bills that are to be reexamined.
