Parliament to debate bill with amendments to Law on SIS

The legislative body on February 11 will discuss a bill containing amendments to the Law on the Security and Information Service (SIS) and a bill on the ratification of the financing agreement between Moldova and the European Investment Bank for implementing the Water Utilities Development Program, Info-Prim Neo reports. Among the most important items included in the agenda of the sitting is the adoption of a bill to ratify the additional protocol between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Romania on the implementation of the technical and financial assistance program with the non-reimbursable financial assistance of €100 million provided by Romania to Moldova. The MPs are to approve the nominal composition of the Central Election Commission. The matter was to be debated in yesterday's sitting, but its examination was postponed at the request of the Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu. The lawmakers will also adopt the draft decision on the resignation of the MPs who renounced the seat in Parliament in favor of other posts they hold.
