The Parliament sitting of July 9, where Prime Minister Ion Chicu is to present the bills for which the Government assumed responsibility, has begun. Initially, the secretariat announced the presence of 51 MPs, which is a quorum. The MPs of the parliamentary majority applauded the announcement. Later, the opposition MPs also entered the assembly hall, IPN reports.
After three failed attempts to present the bills for which the Government assumed responsibility last week owing to the absence of a quorum, Prime Minister Ion Chicu came again to Parliament on July 9.
