The MPs come together for an ordinary sitting on October 22. They are to examine the Central Election Commission’s report on the elections held in 2014 and 2015 and a report on the situation in the energy sector, Speaker Andrian Candu said after the meeting of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau, IPN reports.
Given the recent events, Andrian Candu called on his colleagues to make effort and overcome the emotions so that the activity of the government coalition is productive. He noted that the Government needs political support in Parliament.
“The winter is coming and we should thus balance our statements, actions and requests, even the more aggressive statements about the ‘replacement of ministers’ or things that could lead to the violation of the coalition agreement,” said the Head of Parliament, noting that such issues could be discussed by the coalition’s Council.
The Parliament’s sitting stats at 10am.
