Parliament begins its ordinary autumn session on September 2, as decreed by Speaker Igor Grosu.
MPs will then come together for plennary sittings on the proposal of Parliament’s Standing Bureau, which will also approve the agenda.
Parliament last time assembled during the spring session on July 31. Earlier, Speaker Grosu said that the first plenary sitting of the autumn session could take place on September 5.
Under Parliament’s Regulations, the legislature assembles in two ordinary sessions over the course of the year. The spring session begins in February and may exceed the end of July, and the autumn session begins in September and may exceed the end of December.
