The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova expressed its regret at the death of former MP Vadim Misin and offered its sincere condolences to the grieving family. The Parliament’s Secretariat disseminated a message of compassion addressed to relatives, friends, colleges and all those who knew and appreciated him, IPN reports.
Ex-MP Vadim Misin died at the age of 71 on October 18. He was a member of Moldova’s Parliament in 1998-2014, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and head of the parliamentary commission on human rights and interethnic relations. He entered the legislative body on the Communist ticket, but in 2012 left the Party of Communists and was later elected as chairman of the Party “Renaissance”.
In 2005, Vadim Misin was awarded the Order of the Republic for long and prodigious work in the supreme state bodies, substantial contribution to improving Moldova’s legislation and intense public activity.
