The majority of MPs rejected on Thursday November 23, the proposal to examine the request of a group of MPs concerning the dismissal of 5 Government members who don’t know the state language. Solicited by Igor Klipii, one of the motion’s authors, Speaker Marian Lupu declared that the request has been examined within the frameworks of the standing bureau, and that some legal deficiencies have been discovered in the proposal. Klipii didn’t agree with this explanation and solicited that the proposal concerning the examination of the motion is voted. As result of the voting, 19 MPs pronounced for its examination. On November 16, a group of 15 MPs solicited the dismissal of Minister of Reintegration Vasili Sova, Minister of Transport Miron Gagauz, Minister of Informational Development Vladimir Molojen, director of the Agency for Constructions and Territorial development Igor Semenovcher and director of the Cadastre and Landed Relations Agency Alexandr Bannicov. In the opinion of the motion’s authors, by not knowing the state language, the named officials violate the Constitution of the R. of Moldova.
