Moldova’s Parliament condemns the deadliest terror attack in the history of Turkey, where at least 100 people were killed and around 250 wounded in two explosions that targeted a peace rally in the center of the capital on October 10, IPN reports, quoting the legislature’s press service.
“In these days of national mourning in Turkey, we are near the families and close relatives of the victims of the terrible massacre. The loss of innocent lives cannot be justified. We vehemently condemn this terrorist attack and make common cause with the international community in ensuring peace and stability all over the world,” said Head of Parliament Andrian Candu.
Twin explosions outside Ankara’s main train station last Saturday morning targeted hundreds of people who had gathered to protest against violence between authorities and the Kurdish militant group, the PKK. The Turkish authorities declared three days of national mourning.
