Parliament comes together for extraordinary session Tues.

The legislature will hold an extraordinary session on Tuesday, January 11. It will be a continuation of the December 30 sitting. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the Parliament’s press office Liliana Anghel said that extraordinary sessions will take place during January 11 - 18. The first session on January 11 will center on the constitution of the working bodies, Standing Bureau and parliamentary commissions. It starts at 12.00. The parliamentary groups were created on December 30. A government coalition was formed and there were voted in the Speaker, First Deputy Speaker and a Deputy Speaker. Also, the Acting President of Moldova designated the Prime Minister. By this weekend, Premier designate Vlad Filat is to constitute the Cabinet and present the government program.
