Members of Parliament and the Government will come together for a joint meeting on February 4. Earlier, Speaker Igor Corman said the discussions will focus on the European agenda and the priorities for the Parliament’s spring-summer session. The meeting will take place at the Palace of the Republic, IPN reports.

Among the priorities of the new session of Parliament are the reformation of justice and the prosecution service and the preparations for signing the Association Agreement with the EU. It is planned that the agreement will be ratified by the current legislature. The bill on the disciplinary punishment of judges, which was to be appraised by the Venice Commission, is yet to be adopted.

This is the fourth joint meeting of the legislature and the executive. The tradition was established after the formation of the Pro-European Coalition.
