The parliamentary elections will take place on November 30, 2014. In the May 28 sitting, the legislative body adopted a bill to this effect, IPN reports.
Democratic MP Sergiu Sarbu proposed that the bill should take effect in July. But his proposal was rejected for the reason that this would mean additional costs.
The bill will come into force on September 15, when the election period will begin officially and the Central Election Commission will start to organize the legislative elections, the Commission’s secretary Andrei Volentir has told IPN.
