Drivers are urged to avoid the central part of Chisinau this evening. From 5pm until the end of the Easter Vigil, the parking of motor vehicles in areas adjoining the Metropolitan Cathedral “God’s Birth” is banned, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the Police Division.
To avoid the creation of traffic jams in central Chisinau, the drivers are urged to bypass the section of A. Pushkin St between Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd and Columna St, the section of Mitropolit Gavriil B. Bodoni St between Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd and Columna St and the section of Columna St between the streets Mitropolit Gavriil B. Bodoni and A. Pushkin.
Those who see an attempt to break the law or are witness to the commission of an offense are asked to immediately report this to the nearest police station or to call 112.
More than 700 police officers will be on duty in Chisinau during the Easter holidays.
