Parent is the profession of these special people

The families that are members of the social service Professional Parent Assistance will be conferred the title “Parent is the Profession of these Special People”, being thus appreciated for their vocation. The assessments will be made by the organization Child, Community, Family (CCF Moldova) on May 20 within the event “Family – the Childhood’s Motherland” that supports the children who remained without parental care, Info-Prim Neo reports. CCF Moldova supports the children who are now under Professional Parent Assistance. For different reasons, they remained without parental care. According to a communiqué from CCF – Moldova, 20 Professional Parent Assistance services work successfully in Chisinau, but the necessity of such services is much greater than the offer. Therefore, CCF Moldova, in partnership with the Municipal Child Protection Division, is implementing the residential childcare system reform that was approved by the Government in July 2007. The specialists say the Professional Parent Assistance is the only solution for providing a family for every child, when the child cannot be raised by the biological or extended family. The program of the events includes music, games, contests with surprises for everyone, face-painting and hairdo workshops, the family drawing contest “Family - the Childhood’s Motherland”, trampoline. The activities will take place in Dendrariu Park in Chisinau, starting at 11am. Initially, the event was set to take place on May 19, but was transferred following the decreeing of this day as a National Mourning Day for the Prima Donna Maria Biesu.
