A woman and her three children aged between two and four, who are citizens of Syria, were detained with false documents at the Chisinau International Airport. These came to Moldova with the plane from Istanbul.

The Border Police said the children's mother aged 28 had an anxious behavior during the check. Their passports, shown to have been issued by the Israeli authorities, turned out to be forged, IPN reports.

The woman said they intended to reach one of the European states. She said they are all citizens of Syria. The persons were sent back to the departure country, according to the procedure.

It should be noted that the European Union is facing a migrants crisis as hundreds of thousands of Syrians flee their country because of the armed conflicts there and seek asylum or enter illegally EU states.
