Parade in Chisinau on Children’s Day

A Childhood’s Parade will be mounted in Chisinau on June 1 starting at 9.00. The column will set off from the National Center for Children and Youth “Artico” and will move along Stefan cel Mare Blvd. towards the Great National Assembly Square, Info-Prim Neo reports. Children’s artistic groups of Chisinau education institutions will give a concert in the central square between 10.40 and 13.00. There will be held fighting exercises and launches of miniature rockets. Sale-exhibitions of handicrafts and drawings will be staged in the square within the same period of time. A festive program will take place on the stage in front of the National Center for Children and Youth “Artico”, between 11.30 and 13.00. It will include activities dedicated to 70 years of the foundation and 20 years of work of the renewed weekly “Florile Dalbe”. Starting at 10.00, the National Children’s Library “Ion Creanga” will host the literary-music event “Viva Childhood!”. The music high school “S. Rahmaninov” will hold a concert titled “Children to Children” at the Organ Hall starting at 12.00. Between 12.00 and 15.00, the district heads’ offices will stage artistic programs in the districts. Festivities dedicated to the International Chidlren’s Day will take place at the international exhibitions center “Moldexpo” from 11.00 until 18.00. The activities will end with the concert “Fantasies for Children” at the National Palace in Chisinau. It will start at 18.00.
