The Palanca customs post will not work from June 21, 5pm, until June 22, 5pm, owing to the connection of the new frontier post to the electric power and gas supply. The Customs Service calls on those who intend to cross the border to go to the Tudora customs post that is situated in the vicinity, IPN reports.
The Customs Service asks the citizens to show understanding given the objective reasons for such a move. The temporary customs post was set up to ensure the convenience of the persons who travel to Odessa region as the distance through this post is the shortest.
The new jointly operated Moldovan-Ukrainian customs post Palanca will start work this December. The project to reconstruct the post is €5.56 million.
