The exhibit contains some 60 works from her 100 pictures. The paintings represent mainly static landscapes in oil on canvass. The artist says she has a passion for the folk art and culture. The pots, jars, fruit and flowers are most often shown on a background of Moldovan carpets. The sunflower is a leitmotif. “It's the symbol of light and warmth,”Ludmila Zastavnitchi-Seremet explains. The painter and art critic Liviu Hancu says the artists' works are defined by the simplicity of the shapes. The painter has the courage not to avoid the simple things. She knees in front of the nature and establishes the harmony with the cosmic harmony of the earth.
