The size of paid leaves received by the parents looking after their children that study online during school lockdowns has increased, and so have the benefits for temporary unemployment and the paid vaccination leaves, under a Government resolution.
In particular, the paid leaves for parents and the temporary unemployment allowance increases from 150 to 250 lei per day. The maximum paid vaccination leave increases from 450 to 500 lei per day.
The measure is intended to reduce the financial burden on employers during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government said.
