The section of Pădurii St between the streets Șoseaua Muncești and Grădina Botanică, which is one of the most damaged arteries in Chisinau, will be renovated, IPN reports.
According to the head of the Public Relations Division of the Chisinau City Hall Vadim Brânzaniuc, the works started on October 15 and will last for a week. There is no public transport running in the area.
The road’s surface is over 8,000 square meters in area and the costs of the repair works will total 2.8 million lei. The trees in the area will be trimmed. Also, the green areas will be laid out and the public lighting system will be rehabilitated.
The works are performed within the municipal road rehabilitation program.
