PAD holds national constitution congress

The national congress to constitute the Democratic Action Party (PAD) will take place on Sunday, November 6. In the congress, persons delegated by the local organizations will vote to officially create the party. There will be also approved the statutes and political program of the PAD and elected the chairman, deputy chairmen of the party and other executives, Info-Prim Neo reports. More than 500 delegates from all over the country are expected to take part in the event, which will be also attended by invitees from abroad, representatives of embassies working in Chisinau, mass media managers and civil society opinion leaders. PAD leader Mihai Godea left the PLDM and ran independently in the mayoral elections in Chisinau, initiating the foundation of the Alternative Democratic Platform. On July 21, there was launched the Democratic Action Party. According to a communiqué from the party, the Democratic Action Party is a liberal, reforming, European and proactive party that aims to bring to power an honest, efficient, tolerant political class that is open for dialogue and ready to ensure the real reformation of society. The organizers announced that the forum will be held in a transparent and open way, which will be a premier for the Republic of Moldova.
