The “package approach” to the problems discussed within the Transnistrian conflict settlement contains by four subjects on which each of the sides insisted. The document was made public one day before the meeting of President Igor Dodon and the Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky, IPN reports.

The restoration of landline telephone connection is the first subject presented in the document. Simultaneously, there will be coordinated the functionality of mobile telephony between operators from both sides of the Nistru.

The recognition of diplomas issued by the Tiraspol University “Taras Shevchenko” is the second issue. The procedure for registering the motor vehicles owned by persons who reside in Transnistria is another subject on which Tiraspol insists.

The ensuring of the free movement of people between both sides of the Nistru, including functionaries, is the next issue.

The list continues with Chisinau’s request to restore the mechanism for ensuring Dubasari farmers’ access to their farmland beyond the Tiraspol-Rybnitsa road that was used in 2006-2013. It is also requested to coordinate the functioning mechanism, without additional costs imposed by the Tiraspol administration, of the eight Moldovan-administered, Romanian-language schools in Transnistria. It is underlined the necessity of choosing a suitable building for the students of the Grigoriopol lyceum, who now study in Dorotcaia village.

The next subjects include the imposition of a moratorium on the criminal cases initiated against public figures from both sides of the Nistru and coordination of the date of opening the bridge over the Nistru, between Gura Bykului and Bychok villages, with the assistance of the Joint Control Commission.

The meeting of Igor Dodon and Vadim Krasnoselsky will take place in Holercani on March 30.
