The preliminary order of the six potential contenders in the July 11 snap parliamentary elections, which submitted the required documents today, was decided by draw. The Party “Building Europe at Home” (PACE) will top the list of candidates on the ballot, IPN reports.

The Common Action Civic Congress Party will be under No. 2, the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi” – under No. 3, the Shor Party – under No. 4.

The Party of Action and Solidarity will be fifth, while the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and Socialists will be sixth.

The candidates for MP can be nominated until June 11, which is not later than 30 days before the election day. After the candidates submit the documents for registration, the CEC will have seven days to take a decision as to the registration or non-registration. The election campaign for each candidate starts when they are officially registered as contenders.

The election competitors on the ballot will be under the number that is decided by draw the day the documents are submitted by two or more candidates.
