The Building Europe at Home Party (PACE) demands that the senior administration of the country should resign unconditionally and that snap parliamentary and presidential elections should be called. The demands were formulated by Tatiana Bordeianu, PACE vice president in charge of foreign relations and integration into the EU, in a news conference hosted by IPN.

According to PACE, most of the people are convinced that poverty and the social disaster are due to the ruling party’s actions. “An overwhelming majority of people in the Republic of Moldova seek the resignation of the President and the PAS government and the urgent holding of snap parliamentary and presidential elections,” stated Tatiana Bordeianu, invoking the results of the public consultations held by PACE with people, experts and opposition parties.

“We, the political party PACE, call on all the opposition parties, regardless of their color, doctrines, course and other beliefs, to unite as we need to be united and organized and to mount peaceful protests. But we need to be tens of thousands and to obtain the resignation of this incompetent government of poverty and social disaster,” said Tatiana Bordeianu.

Denis Roșca, the party’s first vice president, said that for the first time in the history of the Republic of Moldova since the declaring of its independence, the citizens doubt the managerial capacities of the government. “The Republic of
Moldova has a poor image but the activities performed by the administration do not generate trust,” he stated.

Denis Roșca noted that the country plan worked out by PACE will enable to involve the Moldovans in the solving of problems to a greater extent, while the education and health sectors will be consolidated by the state. “There will be less bureaucracy and the future will be clearer,” said the party’s first vice president.

PACE proposes a county plan that is designed to reduce poverty and the social disaster. “The country plan has five priorities that will prevent the Republic of Moldova from being the poorest country in Europe if they are achieved in parallel. We have everything we need to develop. Only confidence that the Republic of Moldova can become a developed state is needed,” stated Denis Roșca.
