Approximately 9,400 students went to the fist grade in the municipality of Chisinau this year, while about 4,700 students go to the tenth grade, IPN reports.
According to preliminary data, the schools in Chisinau are attended by 87,800 students. A number of 1,340 students went to live abroad so far this year, while about 200 returned home from abroad.
There are 145 primary and secondary education establishments in the capital city and its suburban localities.
