More than 80 apartment buildings in the municipality of Chisinau will be extensively repaired this year, at the request of citizens of the capital city. Works to replace windows, roofs and engineering networks started or are to start at a number of addresses in Chisinau, the head of the General Hosing and Public Amenities Division Ion Burdiumov has told IPN.
The windows will be replaced in 27 buildings. The roofs will be renewed in 24 blocks, while new engineering networks will be installed in 33 buildings in the city. According to Ion Burdiumov, the addresses were selected according to the number of requests made by dwellers. A sum of 25 million lei was allocated from the 2023 municipal budget for the purpose.
So far, the repair works were completed at seven addresses. Such works are ongoing at 55 apartment buildings.
In 2022, extensive repair works were executed in 75 apartment buildings at a cost of 21 million lei, with the money being provided from the municipal fund.
