More than 72 million paper pages from the national cadastral archive will become available in a digital form.  47% of these were already scanned and checked. It goes to the local cadastral bodies in Ialoveni, Ocnița, Briceni, Dondușeni, Edineț, Soroca, Florești, Anenii Noi, Drochia and Sângerei, IPN reports, quoting the Public Services Agency.

The digitization process covers 68% of the paper documents. The remaining volume will be digitized in 2023.

The conversion of cadastral documenters from local cadastral bodies is an essential condition for eliminating the territorial division of the cadastral system and creates opportunities for new services and transparency of cadastral data. Working processes are streamlined through instant access to documents, while the doubling of the format ensures the integrity of documents and increases their security level.

The cadastral archive is digitized in the framework of the Land Registration and Property Valuation Project that is funded by the International Development Association and is implemented by the Public Services Agency in 2019-2024.
