Over 70,000 people came in the Great National Assembly Square to celebrate Chisinau Day. Silviu Musuc, chief of the municipal police, told Info-Prim Neo that the event took place without any major incidents, although there were a few minor ones. For example, three people came armed to the concert. They did have a weapon permit, but the police didn't allow them to pass. Nine drivers, apparently drunken, were sent to have an alcohol test. If the result is between 0.3‰ and 0.8‰, they will receive administrative fines, but if higher, criminal cases will be opened against them. Anatol Proca, coordinator doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service, told Info-Prim Neo that 12 people required medical care during the concert, including two minors. In both cases, the teenagers were drunk. The first one, aged 16, got intoxicated with alcohol and was taken to the Mother and Child Center. The second one, aged 15, was taken home by his parents. During the Chisinau Day, the Emergency Service received 728 calls.
