More than 70 education institutions, including kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools and lyceums, will need to be reorganized this year because of low numbers of students, IPN learned from the Ministry of Education.
Valentin Crudu, head of the Ministry’s Pre-University Education Department, told reporters that the reorganization data will be final by the end of August, when all the information sent in by the local authorities is processed, as it’s the local authorities’ prerogative to decide on founding or reorganization of schools.
According to the Ministry of Education, in 2015 there were reorganized 19 institutions in 6 districts, and four other institutions were dissolved.
