Chisinau contributed the most to the national public budget in the first quarter of this year. The revenues collected in the period in Chisinau came to 5978.8 million lei, which is 66.78% of the aggregate revenues, IPN reports, quoting the State Tax Service.
The municipality of Balti contributed 457.8 million lei or 5.11% to the national public budget, while ATU Gagauzia –214.4 million lei or 2.4%. As regards the districts, Cahul contributed 150.4 million lei or 1.68% of the total revenues, Orhei – 144.9 million lei or 1.62%, Ungheni – 127.6 million or 1.43%, while Anenii Noi – 114.5 million lei or 1.28%.
The revenues collected into the national public budget in January – March this year totaled 8.952,9 billion lei, an increase of 19.5% compared with the corresponding period last year.
