More than 600 employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations will work on Easter Night. The rescuers and firefighters will ensure fire safety near churches. Over 200 firefighting vehicles will be ready for use, IPN reports.
To avoid situations of risk inside churches, the rescuers call on parishioners not to crowd inside and listen to the services from outside where it is possible. Those who go by personal cars should park the vehicles so as not to block the access of special vehicles.
Candles must be lit only in special places. At home, the fire brought from church should be permanently supervised.
Ahead of the holidays, employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations carried out inspections in churches to make sure they all have fire safety equipment.
