More than 5,100 people signed up for free Romanian language courses that will be provided both in person, in several parts of Moldova, and online, the Ministry of Education and Research announced.

Registration for the program is open until May 26 and is done by filling out an online form. At the end of the course, the trainees will obtain a certificate indicating the level of linguistic competence, in accordance with the provisions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The authorities plan for this year to train about 2,500 teaching and management staff in general education institutions, and about 4,000 adults from various professional categories, including refugees from Ukraine.

If signing up online is not possible, those interested can turn for help with filling out the form to the local educational institutions.
