The over 4,000 candidates who failed exams the previous Baccalaureate sessions will take part in the additional Baccalaureate session during July 16 – 23, 2018. On July 16, 208 students who speak other languages than Romanian will take the exam in the Romanian language and literature, starting at 10am, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research said 572 candidates will sit the exam in the language of study on July 17, 1,521 candidates the exam in the foreign language on July 18, 2,770 candidates the specialty exam on July 19, 583 candidates the exam of one’s choice on July 20 and the last exam, in the mother of tongue, will be taken on July 23.
The 4,034 candidates will take the exams at 14 Baccalaureate Centers opened for the additional session. Nine of these are situated in Chisinau municipality, two in Balti municipality and by one in Cahul, Comrat and Edinet. There were approved 15 national evaluation commissions that include 169 assessors.
For the first time, the candidates who take part in the additional session can file challenges within 48 hours of the posting of the exam results.
The results of the additional Baccalaureate session will be posted at the Baccalaureate Centers on July 25, while the final results, after the examination of challenges, will be announced on August 1, 2018.
