More than 400 children from six special schools of Chisinau and one special school based in Strășeni on December 4 took part in a performance of music that involved Santa Claus and dwarfs. The event was organized by BC “Mobiasbanca – Groupe Société Générale” in cooperation with the National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich”, IPN reports.
The children received personalized invitations to the event that featured such singers as Amelia Uzun, Anișoara Chernikova, Aurel and Laurențiu Chirtoacă, Olga Verbitski, Aura, Lory and Bety, Nica Dudca, Mike Kovali, Denis Midone and the dances ensembles Angels Dance, Bravissimo Dance Group, Picături Muzicale and Flagrant Dance Club.
BC “Mobiasbanca – Groupe Société Générale” secretary general Stela Ciobanu said the evet was organized in a move to bring the magic and spirit of the winter holidays to children who were obedient. “I think we managed to bring the Christmas atmosphere to the homes of the most happiest children today,” she stated.
Natalia Bologan, vice director of the Strășeni school, said it is not for the first time that the children are invited to performances in Chisinau and they every time are impressed by what they see as they enjoy such events seldom in the region.
Director of the National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich” Svetlana Bivol said the performance involved a lot of music, magic and fairytale characters so that all the children could enjoy the holiday atmosphere. “It was a real fest and I’m sure they remained impressed. It was a present for them before Christmas,” she stated.
The children left home with a plush toy. All those who wanted could have pictures with Santa Claus and the dwarfs in front of a special panel set up in the hall of the National Philharmonic.
