Children attending kindergartens in Chisinau this year as well will receive sweet gifts purchased by the local authorities at the performances staged on the occasion of the winter holidays. Deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi warned the parents not to collect money for these purposes, IPN reports.
Last year, the municipality bought over 32,000 sweet gifts for children who attend 132 early education institutions in Chisinau.
The Chisinau City Hall prohibits any form of collection of money for gifts.
