In the course of 2017, Moldova’s Parliament passed 324 legal acts. Of these, 241 were laws, while 83 were decisions, shows the statistical report on the legislative process last year, IPN reports.
According to the Parliament’s press service, there were adopted 234 organic laws, six ordinary laws and a constitutional law. A number of 152 laws were acts to amend and supplement other laws, 50 were framework laws, while 39 were ratification laws.
Of the total number of decisions, 36 were hiring and firing decisions, 28 were amendment and supplementation decisions, while 19 were framework decisions. The MPs also carried 245 bills in the first reading.
Last year the President of Moldova promulgated 23 legal acts. Of these, 15 were reexamined by the legislative body.
